Proof Pending looks at cases that sit in the space between established fact and popular legend. Each short walks through what is actually documented, what is claimed, and where the two diverge — without treating an unresolved question as a foregone conclusion in either direction.

Approach

• Sources are checked against primary and credible secondary material wherever possible.
• Claims are presented with their evidentiary weight made clear, rather than blurred together with confirmed fact.
• A case is only called "solved" when the evidence genuinely supports that conclusion.
